Nutrition Education
Ample Table for Everyone has developed several educational programs that are designed to be used by organizations with their constituents. These programs are unique in that they not only focus on building nutritional eating habits, but also discuss ways in which to build support and relieve some of the stress associated with food insecurity. Each program comes with discussion leader and participant materials, discussion guides and worksheets to reinforce the concepts in the lessons.

Family and Food Matters for Pregnant Women
Family and Food Matters to Pregnant Women (FFM-PW) is a 4-week program that focuses on decreasing challenges around having sufficient and healthy foods to eat and increasing support. Mothers-to-be require nutritious foods not only for their own health but also to ensure the healthy development of their babies. Women who lack the appropriate quantity and quality of foods are at a greater risk of not meeting the necessary nutritional needs of their growing babies, which can affect her health and that of her developing baby.
(The classroom version of this program is available in English and Spanish.)
Family and Food Matters for Caregivers and Kids
Family & Food Matters to Caregivers and Kids (FFM-CK) is a 7-week wellness program that helps to decrease family hunger and increase family functioning, specifically among families who may be experiencing difficulty with access to and affordability of healthy foods. FFM-CK provides an opportunity to engage in quality time together around healthy foods. By engaging all family members and emphasizing the importance of having fun and learning together, there is a greater chance they will spend time together reinforcing positive family relationships and behaviors.

Root Camp - Nutrition Education for Middle-Schoolers
Root Camp is an interactive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate food awareness curriculum designed for middle school aged students, providing information, encouraging discussion, and fostering greater understanding of nutrition, food systems, and how their food choices affect their health and the environment.
At its essence, ROOT Camp is more than a nutrition education or cooking course. The curriculum aims to provide students with a road map for making strong, informed, and healthy choices as they enter into a new phase of independence and self-awareness. Preparing and familiarizing students with common food jargon and ways to question, speak about and discuss food choices, makes it possible for them to choose healthier, and more satisfying food options.
